ONLINE ORDERING 

Your online shopping and credit card transactions are secure. We use Secure Socket Layering (SSL) to encrypt your sensitive data. SSL is the industry standard encryption. You will see the “http://” change to “https://” in the url when you begin to check out to let you know you are shopping securely. We use the Woocommerce platform for our shopping cart.

To shop, just click “add to cart” on the item you wish to purchase. As you continue shopping and adding items to your cart, your total will be shown in the upper right hand corner of our site. When you finish adding items to your cart, select “check out” in the cart in the upper right hand corner and you will be taken to a secure payment page to enter your payment information and review your order. Click “submit order” to complete your purchase. You will receive an immediate automatic order confirmation with your order number and a copy of your order. Your card will be charged when you place your order.

When your order ships, you will receive another email with tracking information. Orders of in-stock items normally ship in 2-3 business days. We will notify you if an item is temporarily out of stock. Those items will ship as soon as we receive (typically within 2 weeks).

 

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Orders usually ship within 1-2 business days for in stock items. We normally ship via UPS Ground and USPS Priority, typically 2-5 business days for in-stock items.We will notify you if an item is temporarily out of stock. Those items will ship as soon as we receive (typically within 1-2 weeks).

Please note that the total shipping cost listed on the automatically-generated invoice will not reflect any requested alternate shipping options. If your shipping cost varies from the standard flat rate, we will contact you for approval before charging your credit card.

All items are shipped ‘no signature required.’ If you would prefer to have your order shipped with signature required on delivery, please indicate this in the Comments field. Additional charges apply.

  • Standard shipping is typically 2-5 business days, applicable for all non-expedited shipments within the contiguous U.S.
  • Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and Puerto Rico, or any expedited shipping within the contiguous U.S. will be quoted on a per-order basis.
  • Some items may ship directly from the manufacturer or are special order items. These items will ship separately and may have a longer lead time.

 

REFUNDS, RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

Items must be in new condition, and returns must be accompanied by the original receipt. Clothing items must have the original tags still attached. If you return an item within thirty days, you will be refunded the price of the item using the method of payment shown on the original receipt. Shipping is non-refundable. Returns made between thirty and sixty days can be exchanged for store credit only. No returns can be accepted after sixty days.

For all returns and exchanges, the customer is responsible for all costs associated with returning the item(s) to Hollins University Bookstore.

Personalized and custom ordered items are sale final and not eligible for return.
